Our People
 
UMR has deliberately set out to differentiate itself from much of the market research industry by employing staff with a broad range of professional backgrounds, including law, business, investment banking, communications, marketing, criminology, politics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, computing and statistics.
 
While all naturally have expertise in research, we believe the breadth of their experience helps us bring a pragmatic focus to the project and added value and insight to research findings. Client-side experience also means we understand the environment in which people who use research are operating.
 
We have a close relationship between our Australian offices and our New Zealand offices in Auckland and Wellington. We often exchange staff for specific projects if we believe they have particular expertise that could add value for clients.
