SAYit Online Research Panel Terms and Conditions
   
  The SAYit Online Research Panel (“SAYit”) is owned and operated by UMR Research Ltd.
   
   
  General Conditions
  By registering as a member of the SAYit ("Member") and/or taking part in a SAYit survey that you have been invited to complete you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. UMR Research Ltd reserves the right to amend or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the SAYit website. Your use of the SAYit website or completion of a SAYit Survey following the posting of any amendments shall constitute your acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
   
   
  Conditions of Membership
  Membership of SAYit is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 and above. More than one member of a household may be a SAYit member, but each member must have a unique email address.
   
   
  Completion of Surveys
  Members must complete any survey emailed to them once only. Surveys must be completed by the member to whom the survey invitation was sent, and not by any other member. UMR Research Ltd reserves the right to close survey response periods early.
   
   
  Confidentiality
  Except as required by law, Members shall keep confidential and not disclose to any third parties the contents and any information associated with any surveys.
Except as required by law, UMR Research Ltd will keep members registration details confidential and will not disclose individuals information to third parties in such a way that would allow them to be identified. Members will not be able to be identified in any reports that result from SAYit surveys. UMR Research Ltd adheres to New Zealand's Privacy laws and the market and social research privacy principles of the Association of Market Research Organisation.
   
   
  Prizes
  Members who have been selected to win a prize will be notified by email. Winners have two weeks to acknowledge this email, and provide any information requested. If UMR Research Ltd does not hear from the winner after two weeks, the winner forfeits his/her right to the prize and another winner will be chosen.
UMR Research Ltd reserves the right to remove or replace any prize advertised without notice. SAYit prize decisions are final and no correspondence about the decision will be entered into.
   
   
  Personal Information
  UMR Research Ltd reserves the right to authenticate any Members registration details. It is the Member's responsibility to keep personal information as current as possible. It is a condition of receiving any SAYit prize that membership details are correct. Where membership details listed are incorrect, members may forfeit their prize.
   
   
  Inactivity
  SAYit members who do not complete any surveys within a six month period and have not communicated with UMR Research Ltd over this time will be classified as inactive members and may have their membership terminated.
   
   
  Termination
  UMR Research Ltd reserves the right to terminate the membership of any SAYit Member without prior notice and in UMR Research Ltd’s sole discretion. Circumstances in which a Member shall be terminated include but are not limited to (a) breaches or violations of the Terms and Conditions or other incorporated agreements or guidelines;(b) incorrect registration details; (c) the existence of multiple accounts for the same Member; (d) lack of regular participation in the online surveys by a Member; (e) an invalid email address registered for a Member; (f) a Member responding to emails or surveys that are intended for another person; (g) false or fraudulent responses or other fraudulent activity; (h) false referrals. UMR Research Ltd may terminate or modify SAYit in its sole discretion. Termination for any reason will result in forfeiture of entries in any prize draws.
   
   
  Exclusion of Liability
  UMR Research Ltd shall not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any direct or indirect, special, consequential or incidental damages or damages for loss of profits, loss of revenue, or loss of use, arising out of or in connection with the SAYit website or its contents, any SAYit Survey, any website accessed from the SAYit Panel website or any other UMR Research Ltd website.
   
   
  Indemnity
  You will take all necessary action to defend and indemnify UMR Research Ltd, and its employees against all costs, expenses and damages incurred in connection with any claim brought by a third party against UMR Research Ltd arising from a breach by you of any of these terms and conditions.

  Copyright (c) 2007 UMR Research Ltd. All rights reserved. The copyright and the material contained in the SAYit website and the SAYit surveys belong to and remain the property of UMR Research Ltd. Do not use, disclose, reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, transmit, republish (including framing any part of this website) or revise the contents of this website and the SAYit surveys without the prior written consent of UMR Research Ltd. Neither title nor intellectual property rights are transferred to you or any third party though the use of access to this website or the SAYit surveys. Rather, all rights, title and interest in and to all aspects of this website and the SAYit surveys remain the sole property of UMR Research Ltd.
